J.D. Richey Sportfishing takes great pride in providing the
best service in the industry and it is our goal to make your
visit with us more than simply a fishing trip think
of it more as a mini vacation and day-long adventure.
About
your guide
J.D. Richey is a nationally known outdoor author and a regular
contributor to publications such as Field & Stream,
Salmon Trout Steelheader, Western Outdoor News

20 years fishing these waters and is also licensed by the

Boats
Our fleet features clean, safe and modern boats custom-tailored to our fishing styles. The 20-foot Willie driftboat will hold up to 4 anglers and the 20-foot Smoker jet sled can fish up to 5 people. The 22-foot Ranger bass boat also can carry loads of 4 anglers. |

Equipment
We are affiliated with the best names in the fishing tackle
industry, so you'll always fish with high grade, well-maintained
gear. We're on the GLoomis, Shimano, Pautzke's and Sep's Pro Staffs.
Your
Day
Your full-day fishing trip generally begins at dawn and last
7 hours. Once on the water, your guide will give a brief seminar
on the day's techniques and then fishing will begin. Depending
on the river and fishing season, your float will be as many
as 10 miles long. A week prior to the trip, we will contact
you and give you detailed directions to the meeting location
and what time to be there.
