California
is home to some of the most prolific salmon runs on the West
Coast. The kings in our streams average 15-18 pounds, with
30 pounders not uncommon and fish as high as 50+ pounds are
taken each season. Most of our king fishing is done with conventional
gear, though fly trips are also available.

Feather
River |
The
Feather is one of the top producers of kings anywhere and
it annually recieves 30,000 to 146,000 kings from May through
September.
American
River | A delightful
stream that fills up with anywhere from 30,000 to 111,000
salmon per year in September, October and November. The scenery
along the American is beautiful and, since jet boats are not
allowed on the river, drift trips are incredibly peaceful.
Sacramento
River | The mother
of all California salmon streams, the Sac hosts 50,000 to
160,000 salmon per season in September, October and November.
