Some of the best fishing in the world!

In the summer months, I guide out of a luxurious lodge in the middle of Southwest Alaska, on perhaps the state's best king salmon fishery.

While the kings are amazing, the variety is what really sets this place apart! The silver salmon run here is almost too incredible to believe and the river also gets stuffed with hard-fighting chum, delicious sockeye and tons of pinks.

Additionally, we have solid rainbow and dolly fishing and both species can get big! We see rainbows to 30 plus inches every season and dollies can average a solid 4-5 pounds and sometimes reach 7 pounds.

Throw in some bonus pike and you have a truly word class fishery!

KING SALMON: The king season runs the second half of June through the middle of July. Sockeye, chum and pink salmon are also good then and that's often the best rainbow fishing as well.

SILVER SALMON: The silvers come in hot and heavy in mid August and remain incredibly thick until mid September. At that time, dolly fishing is very good as well.
