Pyramid Lake pumping out the Big Trout!

We had a mixed bag of weather on Pyramid Lake this week, with cold/windy/rainy and gloriously flat calm and sunny days and everything in between.

Through it all, the big cutthroat trout keep on biting and the water temperatures are creeping up, which will just make the fish more “bitey” as we move into February, which is one of my favorite months on the lake.

I’ll be fishing here until the end of March, at which time I’ll break camp and head back home to Lake Tahoe, where I’ll run trips until the end of Sept.

For info on fishing either lake, feel free to reach out any time!
